Tactful AI co-founders Mohamed El-Masry and Mohammed Hassan have reacquired full ownership of the company from Belgian business communications firm Dstny, which had acquired Tactful AI in 2022.
The reacquisition marks a new chapter for the Egypt-born AI startup, enabling it to pursue an independent growth path with renewed focus on regional and international expansion — starting in the Middle East (particularly Saudi Arabia and the UAE) and extending into the UK and Western Europe.

The company, founded in 2016, offers an AI-powered platform that manages 100% of digital customer interactions in real time and has helped clients grow digital revenues by 15-35% within months of deployment.
With more than $5 million invested in proprietary technology, Tactful AI is recognised as the first Egyptian-built AI platform specifically designed for CX management. Development centres are located in Cairo and Cambridge.
The company now serves enterprise clients across retail, fintech, hospitality, logistics, and consumer services.
