Tactful is a customer experience infrastructure platform.
You run customer implementations from kick-off through to go-live.
You keep scope, timing and communication under control so customers get a clean launch.
What you'll own
- Run customer implementation projects from kick-off through go-live and the weeks that follow.
- Agree scope, timelines, milestones and what success looks like, with the customer.
- Coordinate the engineering, product and customer teams working on the project.
- Own project communication and give customers a straight progress update they can rely on.
- Spot risks, dependencies and blockers early, and clear them.
- Run customer testing and go-live readiness.
- Hold the line on scope, so every change is agreed before it is made.
- Prepare implementation plans and project documentation.
- Hand the customer over to customer success cleanly once they are live.
- Watch where delivery slows down, and fix the process behind it.
What we're looking for
- 2-5 years running software implementation, SaaS onboarding or customer delivery projects.
- Strong project planning, and the confidence to keep customers and internal teams aligned.
- Experience running several customer projects at once.
- Clear communication and real customer relationship skills.
- Able to hold scope, priorities and competing deadlines together.
- Organised, with an eye for detail.
- Experience working with agile engineering teams.
- Comfortable with project tracking and documentation tools.
Nice to have
- A background in B2B SaaS.
- Familiarity with CRM or customer experience software.
- Experience running software rollouts across multiple teams.
- Working knowledge of agile delivery methods — Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
How success is measured
- Customers go live on the date everyone agreed.
- Scope stays under control, and changes are agreed before they happen.
- Problems are found in customer testing, not after launch.
- Handovers to customer success are clean, with nothing left hanging.
- Customers say the project was well run.
